Overview of Leica BLK3D Desktop

This is a measurement solution based on photos. Each photo is a complete measurement record containing height, width, and depth measurements. You can create measurements immediately on-site, using the handheld BLK3D Imager, or at any point after using the BLK3D Desktop Software.

It enables you to measure hard-to-reach areas easily; you can even measure past objects. Measurements that previously may have required a laser distance meter, a second person, and a target plate, can now be created in an image.

This option is ideal for users who prefer to work with their 3D images primarily in the office. Inside BLK3D Desktop, a simple right-click on a 3D image in Organizer will allow users to generate a unique link to the photo. The links can be shared or embedded almost anywhere by anyone with a web browser and internet connection.

Export 3D images in PDF or JPG format from your PC or the BLK3D via WiFi. Send 3D images captured by the BLK3D to your computer, where they can be opened and edited with the BLK3D Desktop Software.
